The Classic Rock Album this week, played from beginning to end, was the debut album from the somewhat 'super-group' Widowmaker' (1976) which featured Luther Grosvenor (aka 'Ariel Bender') of Mott the Hoople and Spooky Tooth (guitar), Huw Lloyd Langton of Hawkwind (guitar), Steve Ellis of Love Affair (vocals), Bob Daisley of Chicken Shack (bass) and Paul Nicolls who had played with Lindisfarne (drums).
