Stonehenge Playlist 09-02-2011

This week's classic rock album (played from beginning to end, kicking off the show every week at 8pm) was the little-known but spectacular eponymous LP from the UK band Fuzzy Duck, originally released in a pressing of just 500 copies in 1971, and subsequently reissued to critical acclaim in the 1990s.

Fuzzy Duck featured bassist Mick Hawksworth, who had previously performed with future Atomic Rooster member John Du Cann in Five Day Week Straw People and Andromeda (where they were joined by Fuzzy Duck's vocalist/guitarist Grahame White). Drummer Paul Francis had played with both The End and Tucky Buzzard, and Roy Sharland was a former member of the (pre-Uriah Heep) band Spice. A supergroup of sorts!
