Tonight's Classic Rock lp is the 1967 long player by one of the best from the British invasion - The Kinks, Something Else.  Something Else has 13 incredible British pop songs including one of the all time classics --- Waterloo Sunset.  We definitely need to keep spinning more Kinks lps !!

Stonehenge Setlist 12/16/2016

This weeks Classic Rock album was the 4th by the outstanding Long Island, NY band Vanilla Fudge - entitled "Near the Beginning".  Vanilla Fudge formed in 1965 as the Electric Pigeons but by early 1967 they were signed to Atco Records and after their name change to Vanilla Fudge - they recorded their first lp.  Jen was not able to make tonight's show but was kind enough to leave her lp sitting on the front porch for me to pick up and set it to spinning at WREK.  Classic Rock indeed !

Stonehenge Setlist 12/9/2016

This weeks show was our tribute to one of the greats - Greg Lake, who passed away on December 7th - only 9 months since his band mate Keith Emerson passed.  Greg was a founding member of King Crimson, one of the most influential bands of all time and from there went on to co found a Stonehenge favorite - Emerson Lake and Palmer.  Our classic rock lp tonight -- Emerson Lake and Palmer debut from 1970.     He will be missed.
