The Pretty Things formed in London in 1963 and took their name from Bo Diddley's 1955 song
"Pretty Thing". S.F.Sorrow was released in December 1968 and was the first rock opera preceding the The Who's - Tommy by 6 months. It was recorded at Abbey Road Studios
