Welcome to the beginnings of the Stonehenge Radio Show blog.
For 20 years now, the Stonehenge show on Atlanta's WREK 91.1fm has brought the very finest and original classic rock to devoted listeners and lovers of the music that you don't hear on commercial 'rock' radio.
With the advent of the information age, the show has been available both live and archived for 24 hour listening at http://www.wrek.org/ for a number of years, making it possible for an international audience to build. With listeners on both sides of the atlantic, Stonehenge remains committed to diversity, quality, education, mellotron, vinyl and giving the people what they want!
Show times remain 8pm - 12pm Friday, the first hour or so being occupied with the Classic Rock Album of the Week being played in it's entirety.
All requests to stonehengerequests@yahoo.com or message us here.
This Blog will enable the Stonehenge team to list our weekly playlists, and address other interesting Stonehenge-related stories, so visit often!

PS: this is a 1973 picture of Hawkwind jamming in Windsor Great Park, UK. Looks like an awesome show!
