For this week's Classic Rock Album, we chose David Bowie's 'Space Oddity', originally released in 1969 as 'Man of Words / Man of Music'. This version was rerecorded in 1970 for a single release, and was Bowie's first collaboration with Mick Ronson, who is wailing in his familiar style here:
