Stonehenge Setlist 2/2/18
This weeks Classic Rock album is the incredible 1972 lp by the Groundhogs -- "Who will save the World ?" This was the final installment in what is regarded as their trio of early 1970's masterpieces. Those 3 also include "Thank Christ for the Bomb" and "Split". Tony McPhee is truly a British guitar legend. Also check out the super gate fold lp cover - depicting the band as superheroes and drawn by the one and only, comic book artist - Neil Adams. But don't let the fun cover fool you --- the songs are serious, both politically and socially motivated - great stuff.
